Contract Administrator
This is an in office position that can either be located out of our London, ON or our Mississauga, ON office.

As a Contract Administrator you will be responsible for:
· Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and change orders,
· Ensuring all contractual documents are accurate, complete, and in compliance with legal and company requirements, assisting in the pre-qualification of projects,
· Monitoring contract performance to ensure adherence to terms and conditions,
· Evaluating change requests and assessing their impact on cost, schedule, and quality,
· Updating project costs in the applicable system (s),
· Completing progress billing for open jobs,
· Supporting new job set up in the applicable system (s),
· Negotiating and administering changes to contracts and subcontracts,
· Documenting and communicating changes to relevant parties,
· Monitoring insurance requirements and ensuring compliance, including managing the bonding process,
· Coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, as needed,
· Supporting project managers, processing and moving change orders,
· Investigating and assessing claims and disputes arising during the construction process,
· Maintaining detailed records of claim-related correspondence and documentation,
· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies,
· Preparing regular reports on contract status, changes, and potential risks,
· Assisting in audits and reviews as necessary,
· Assisting with the permit close outs for open jobs,
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in contract and/or subcontract management/administration in the construction industry,
· A university degree or college diploma in engineering or construction management or a combination of education and industry experience,
· Knowledge of standard Canadian construction law/regulations,
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,
· Familiarity with contract management software,
· Demonstrated understanding of contract terminology and contract interpretation, contract strategies, pricing models and contract risks.
· Excellent oral and written English skills are essential,
· Able to work effectively under pressure,
· Meticulous attention to detail,
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize various tasks with conflicting deadlines,
· Possessing a valid class G Driver’s License, or better, with a clean driving record.

Pay: $54,185.00-$73,300.00 per year
