The Union Social Eatery is a premium casual eatery known for its well crafted menus and cocktails, an extensive beer and wine selection and the kind of place where comfort rules, and your table is your own little escape. What are we looking for:
- Previous experience working in kitchens, mainly in a full-service dining environment.

- Strong organizational skills. Great with multi-tasking and prioritizing their time.
For those not excited by this point of the post, here’s some more detail about the job:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicating with management prior to shift regarding daily menu needs, special functions or events for the day
- Ensuring kitchen is ready for business before restaurant opens (i.e. sanitizes work area, stocks work area, prepares raw ingredients)
- Preparing food items to company standards while also accommodating guests special requests
- Inspecting food orders to ensure proper plate presentation, portioning and recipe adherence prior to sending food out to guests
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for culinary excellence
- Available to work a variety of restaurant operating hours
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization and time management
