TITLE: Analytical Chemist

DEPARTMENT: IDTS

POSITION REPORTING TO: Technical-Analytical Manager

OPENINGS: Two Analytical Chemist roles

THIS IS A FULL TIME CONTRACT POSITION

General Description:

Execution of the analytical testing to assure high quality standard in support of development or Technology transfer projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of products including raw materials and API.
Perform analytical method transfer of API and compendial verification of raw materials in accordance with assigned protocols using Analytical Instrumentation-IR, UV, HPLC and GC
Ensure all analytical results and documentation are of high quality, generated in a timely fashion and comply with cGMP.
Review and prepare routine technical documents as directed by supervisor.
Plan and perform analytical tasks independently according to priorities assigned by supervisor.
Perform all tasks in accordance with local policies and procedures including EHS standards

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Capable of operating analytical lab equipment relevant to job.
Basic understanding of chemical separation principles.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Good working knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements for highly regulated markets.
Is a team player and can work across all levels and functions.
Proven ability to manage tasks and meet timelines.
